Questions producers ask
How loud should an EDM master be?
Around −7 LUFS integrated for big room and mainstage is what the engine’s Auto setting picks; dance-pop nearer −8.5. The limiter ceiling is 0 dBTP at club loudness; for streaming, around −14 LUFS at −1 dBTP.
Does it work for future house and electro house?
Yes. Electro House is its own profile, and the character setting covers brighter or punchier styles.
Will it sound harsh at that loudness?
You judge it in the A/B at matched loudness. If the top end bites, pull the harsh band down with an EQ dot or lower the target.
