Questions producers ask
How loud should a minimal or deep tech master be?
Around −9 LUFS integrated for the club is what the engine’s Auto setting picks; deep tech closer to tech house can go to −8. The limiter ceiling is 0 dBTP at club loudness; for streaming, around −14 LUFS at −1 dBTP.
Will it kill the swing?
You hear the master while you shape it and compare it with your mix at matched loudness. If the groove stiffens, lower the loudness or choose a softer character.
Is there a profile for rominimal?
Use Minimal / Deep Tech and a softer character; the master follows your mix rather than forcing a curve.
