Hard techno mastering at full pressure, without the kick falling apart.
Hard techno is mastered loud and the kick is already distorted on purpose. The hard part is adding level without turning that distortion into mush. ZERRRO Engine lets you hear exactly where that line is.

The engine’s default for Hard Techno. One of the loudest targets in the tool, in line with released hard techno.
At these tempos the limiter has less time to recover between kicks. Release settings decide whether it pumps.
At club loudness the limiter stops at 0 dBTP, so nothing overshoots. Streaming masters stop at −1 dBTP.
What a hard techno master has to get right
The distortion is part of the sound. A good hard techno master adds loudness on top of it and keeps the kick defined, rather than stacking more distortion onto the distortion.
A kick that stays a kick
Distorted kicks already fill the spectrum. The master has to keep their punch and body instead of flattening them into a constant wall.
Rumble that stays under control
The rumble under the kick is where hard techno gets its weight and where limiters pump first. It needs to sit, not breathe.
Harsh on purpose, not harsh by accident
Industrial textures are meant to bite. The line between intended bite and fatiguing top end is exactly what you judge in the A/B.
Hear it. Shape it. Then decide.

Upload & check
Bit depth, sample rate, true peak, clipping and loudness of your premaster are measured in seconds. If the file is already limited or clipping, you find out before anything is processed.

Pick Techno & Electro → Hard Techno
The engine uses a hard techno reference profile and a loudness target around -7 LUFS, and adapts it to your mix. A reference track from a label you like is optional.

Shape it while it plays
Choose an aggressive or punchy character, pull the harshest band down with an EQ dot if needed, and let Auto set the loudness. You hear every change while the track plays.

A/B and decide
Compare the master with your mix at matched loudness, read the measured LUFS and true peak, and render again for free if it is not there yet. You pay only when you download.

Questions producers ask
How loud should a hard techno master be?
Around −7 LUFS integrated is typical for released hard techno and what the engine’s Auto setting picks. The limiter ceiling is 0 dBTP at club loudness and −1 dBTP for streaming. For streaming, around −14 LUFS.
Will the master add more distortion?
The chain is built to add level, not grit. If you want more bite, pick a more aggressive character and compare it at matched loudness.
My kick already clips in the mix. Is that a problem?
Intentional distortion is fine. Clipping on the master bus is not: the premaster check flags it before anything is processed.
Is it free?
The full-length preview and the A/B are free. You pay one credit, from 2.99 EUR, only when you download.
